Hi, I’m Ashleigh…

MeIn all honesty I have not always been involved with health and fitness – having been diagnosed with an autoimmune condition at a young age meant that most of my high school was spent in doctors rooms. I always felt weak and like I couldn’t do too much by myself, and lifting weights and intense exercise always seemed like a ludicrous idea and I was advised against it by my doctors at the time.

That all changed in 2013 when I decided to take my health into my own hands and started training, eating better and learning as much as I could about health, fitness and the human body. Since then, I believe that every person should know what strength and fitness truly feels like – to be strong and capable is something so many people don’t get to experience!

I believe that everybody has a different journey and different goals. I have learned that there is not a one-size-fits-all approach to fitness and that health isn’t just what you do in the gym. It’s exercise, flexibility, treating your body well, eating your greens, practicing mindfulness and having a healthy self-esteem. All this comes together on your journey to becoming the healthiest and fittest version of yourself.
